Hope was the number one German Shepherd Dog in the USA in 1996 and 1997 by earning her points at both the All Breed and Specialty Shows. While there are only a few dogs who can compete in both rings, Hope was one of the few that became the number one German Shepherd Dog and also a Select Champion the same year. When she was flying around the ring, her attitude said "Look at what I'm doing!" She was always at the end of the lead and could be shown with no lead at all.
